The United Grand Lodges of Serbia Masonic Library is the first specialized Masonic Library in the region of Western Balkans. It works under the supervision of the United Grand Lodges of Serbia, supported by its members, and it is housed in the UGLS Temple in Belgrade, Serbia. Its mission is to provide educational material on the subject of Freemasonry and related subjects, to the members of the UGLS and all Serbian Freemasons, as well as to all interested researchers. The programs and activities of the Library are organized through the Committee on Library of the UGLS, presided by the Grand Librarian. Library is managed by the Director of Library, a full time employee of the UGLS.

Working hours of the library are 11 AM to 7PM Monday to Friday all year round.

In its book colection, UGLS Library has a large number of books on Royal Arch Symbolism, Degrees, and history, as well as on other subject related to York Rite.

Constant education of its members is one of the most important aspects of the long term development of the GCRAMS. BOOKS ABOUT ROYAL ARCH MASONRY

books

In last two hundred years, many books have been written on the subject of the Royal Arch Freemasonry. Out of all authors that ever tried to explain symbols and meanings behind the Rituals of the Royal Arch, certainly most notable were: Steinmetz, George H. with his book “Royal Arch  - It’s Hidden Meaning” ; Wells, Roy A. with his book “Some Royal Arch Terms Examined” ; and Harvey, William J. P., the author of “The Story of the Royal Arch”. Unfortunately, these titles are now available only in English. “Royal Arch  - It’s Hidden Meaning” will be available in Serbian language by January 2015.

If you are interested in any of these titles, or any other books on Freemasonry or Royal arch, please visit UGLS Masonic Library, the first specialized Masonic library on Western Balkans.
